Lots of super sale items and holiday center pieces!
He's hysterical!! Our Thanksgiving tablescape event was such fun last night as Matt Allegretta, design coordinator from Anthropologie, created several Thanksgiving interpretations.

Here we are getting warmed up. Lauren made polenta with sautéed wild mushrooms. Deelish!

Best staff around, hands down! Love these talented ladies. This Thanksgiving and everyday I am very grateful to Abigail, Susan, Suzanne, Lauren and, not pictured Michelle and Matt. They make everyday easy and fun and a store that feels like home! XOXOXO

Our blue cheese with pecans on endive contrasted beautifully with our black marble cheeseboard (available $54.00)

Our vintage wine barrel cover cheeseboards are the perfect start when we are putting together a delicious spread. We have 3 available and currently on sale, both lazy Susan and stationary.

Matt showed us how to put together our own beautiful centerpiece and explained the method behind the art.

Even though there were cancellations due to the rain, we had a great eager turnout.

A beautiful contrast of earthiness and shine. Our linen napkins and pewter napkin rings blend seamlessly. You can see the little mushroom Matt whipped together inside the cloche and on the moss. I clicked this picture after he had removed a couple climbing up the moss. A woodland scene that was my fav!
He explained that he chose the vintage glassware because, although silver and shiny, the leaves decorating the glass kept with the theme....magical!  The mushrooms were made with model magic and green covered wire. Moss, pinecones, model magic and wire all found at any craft store.

Our antique pieces mounted on stands added the vertical height Matt spoke of.

The demo turned into a do it yourself!

Carolyn's were beautiful !

I was touched several talented local businesswomen attended. Shown from left to right, Maura Buckley, designer from MillburnETC, Denise Schoenfeld, Sissys Jewelry, Leslie Hyans Depalma, designer Oakleigh Interiors, me, Heather Cundey, editor of The Scout Guide Northern New Jersey, Allison Lees, realtor Lois Schneider Realty. So happy to promote local businesses and, don't forget Small Business Saturday is coming up the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I made these decadent pumpkin cheesecake crumble bars for the event too! Heavenly!  I was alone with the leftovers this morning and was glad I had to go to work. (I have a problem....can't eat one, have to eat 5!
Get the recipe here: Pumpkin cheesecake crumble squares

I have done this a couple of times and is super easy. We have available hand blown glass vessels, fill with stones, water and a bunch of leeks from the super market. After Thanksgiving make vichyssoise :) !!
